'Modern Relationships vol 1' was published on 25th October 2022 and it's 2nd volume was published on 27th December 2022. Times have changed. I've stayed in Thane district initially, then Navi Mumbai later on, in the midst I stayed in Manipal city in Karnataka, where I did my graduation. Life is great in cities of India. If you're willing to work hard- be it in academics or personal relationships, we are getting the respect that we deserve. In the movie-business, the women are complaining that there is pay parity in women's and men's remuneration. But, even I've worked, I found that in other workplaces there is equality. Mumbai and it's suburbs have 'ladies-special' trains, seats reserved for ladies in government run buses too and the colleagues call you with 'di' or 'ji' added to your name out of respect. The ambience and the general atmosphere is safe too. So our country has moved for the better. There is so much development, care and humanity around. Kudos to the education the citizens are receiving from the schools and colleges. The country is doing well. Because of the tireless efforts of the people fighting for our betterment in Mantralaya, we are having metros and bullet trains, specialised over-sea bridges, flyovers-over-flyovers being constructed in addition to the roadways and railways that we already have. So crowd-controlling is also foolproof now. A big salute to the people living in here and also the people running the city ie at the helm of affairs.
So accordingly, the personal relationships have changed too. Nobody can fool the boys or the girls even, now. You give respect and take respect. But yes, you have to stay alert.
Let's, move forward to the stories in here:
Modern Relationships vol 3_1:
The seventeen year old Mohini was the apple of the eye of both divorced parents- scientist Dr Vedprakash and high-school teacher in the US, Janet. Mohini did get help from various people after the untimely death of close family members, but by being alert, and by being emotionally intelligent, she copes up and navigates the steering-wheel of her life very well.
Modern Relationships vol 3_2:
Amit, Sanjay and Manish were thick friends, debarred from writing exams since they were caught copying in University exams. MLA Shirish Jadhav was a no-nonsense, emotionally intelligent and shrewed guy like the way all successful politicians are. They very well know, which will lead to what. The perfectly calculated moves, finally led to a sweet ending.
Modern Relationships vol 3_3:
Diya and her American boyfriend Romeo broke up because he cheated on her. But instead of running for a razor to cut her wrists or flowing with whatever nonsense her boyfriend asks her to do in order to save her relationship, Diya opted for being emotionally intelligent. She put extra efforts in her medical school project and earned praises from examiners, college principal and... and... ex-boyfriend. Why can't all girls be like this ?
Modern Relationships vol 3_4:
Nitin and Mitali don't seem like the perfect match for each other initially. But the SSC pass sixteen year old refused to be bogged down. She very intelligently and carefully built her career, and a successful one at that too.
Modern Relationships vol 3_5:
We find pompous, always flaunting their love and just day-dreaming that people always talk about them, kind of couples very often, just like Dheeraj and Vinita here. The reality is that actually people are laughing behind their backs calling the guy and the girl both 'dim-witted' and 'jokers'. My advice is that just lie to them that "my boss is sitting in front of me now, I'll call you later" and don't call them deliberately, as planned. You can also beautifully excuse yourself saying "Oh God, I've to do laundry and cook food too. The kids would be home any moment. Sorry, haan, I've to go". Such kind of lovers- 'the whole world belongs to us, we'll trouble anyone' don't deserve any respect, leave alone any time of ours.
I've in all of my three volumes so far, handled the problems commonly faced by today's youth. Let's hope you enjoy this third installment of fun too. Like always I've made sure that the book is gripping.
This is my nineteenth book after fourteen e-books published through KDP Amazon and then four paperback books published through www.notionpress.com I've also authored two video podcast series too- one in spotify.com and another in YouTube.
