Should we marry or should we not ?

I read about the recent suicide case of a Bengaluru techie by the name Atul Subash. He wrote a twenty-four page hardcopy suicide note and also video recorded his pain and the story of immense and unbearable torture inflicted on him by his estranged wife and in-laws. He also clearly told about the female judge laughing at his plight and helplessness.

This pained me also. The wife here is extremely harsh and fatally inhuman by nature and she is craving and will do anything and everything to usurp the late Atul's money. The 'marriage certificate' is misused over here. If you see the entire video suicide note, you'll also be hugely shocked. To what extent is the wife scheming to get Atul's hard–earned money ? His cries, his pain and the extreme stress he is engulfed with, is mocked upon by his own once lady-love and even the judge. This broke his spirit, his self-confidence was shattered into pieces. Is this what happens once two people enter into a love-mariage ?

What should we expect ? Extreme mental stress, pushed to bankrupcy and in the end abetment to suicide. I feel pity on today's educated and hardworking husbands. Is there a way out ? Where is the time for love and trust, which in the west is considered as the base of all relationships ?

Say no to toxic relationships and gossip loving people. If wife or husband is violent and scheming, use the police secretly atleast so that you and your minor kids are safe.

Coming back again, writing e-mails to top Government honchos is a good option if your grave grievances are not paid any heed of at the lower-level. But ending your life, is something I don't advise to anyone. Don't do that. Think of your parents and genuine relatives, they will suffer.

The problem here was very serious. Humanity was crushed under the feat of a merciless woman, who advised her overtly tense estranged husband to kill himself, and he, sad and heartbroken did so.

The law of the land should always be fair and provide care to people. If the current laws are inadequate or hurtful or unfair, then they should be addressed and new improved laws should be made to take its place.

Please save lives. Life is important.
