Ingredients:
Tamarind fleshes
Toor dal 3 handfuls
Chana dal 1 handful
Urad dal 3 spoonfuls
Curry leaves
Bydagi red chilli 3
Veg oil
Rice 1 glassful
Salt 1/2 + 1/2 spoon
Coriander powder 1 spoonful
Red chilli tikhalal powder 1/2 spoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 + 1/4 spoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 spoon
Mustard 3/4 spoon
Water
Procedure:
Pressure cook in one vessel rice, 1/2 spoon salt and 1 spoon vegetable oil along with water. In another vessel pressure cook toor dal, chana dal, 1/2 spoon salt and 1/4 spoon turmeric powder along with water. Then take a kadhai, and in two spoons of oil, fry chopped 1/2 onion with two slit green chillies. Then add 1 chopped tomato. Fry it. Then, add tamarind water, dal mixture, 1/2 spoon tikhalal red chilli powder, coriander powder 1 spoon, 1/2 spoon garam masala powder, turmeric powder 1/4 spoon and mix it well. Then add the pressure cooked rice mixture to it. Mix it well. Add the required amount of water to it. The resulting food has to look like a thick gravy. Put in it the tadka of three bydagi red chillies, curry leaves, oil, mustard and three spoonfuls of urad dal. The dal-khichdi is ready. 😋😋😋
