What should a well educated jobless woman do in metropolitan Mumbai 🤔🤔🤔

       I wear jeans and a lose T-shirt at home and my life is not fussy. I live with a grown up adult man who loves to keep pigeons as pets. I have a teenage daughter who is a student and living with her nani in another part of the city. No no no these are not my problems. It's just that I'm technically in native indian language- 'jobless'. 

       I went against my peers, my family and even the University academic counselor and opted for 'Journalism and mass comm' in my Masters. I'm a very private person, and always longed to share my views and style of thinking with the world. And this I do, not by chatting or attending kitty-parties or attending social gatherings. I just write it away. Through my ebooks, blogs or by sharing important security hazard warnings in family whatsapp groups, I would just love to slowly but surely become 'Carrie Bradshaw'. I was a primary school student when 'Sex and the city' sitcom was aired on TV. But in a video parlour in the year 2012, I stumbled upon 'Sex and the city- the movie I'. I played it on my laptop after going home... AND WAS BLOWN AWAY. This is the way I want to live. Dedicated to my craft- a writer and saree designer, but totally carefree otherwise.

     I live in a big city. Now let's discuss how Priya can become 'Carrie'. Unlike dreams woven into tales and presented in the form of Hollywood mega screens, life in reality needs money. My past one month of various interview sessions resulted in ashes. But will land up a job soon. I would love to meet Reema R Nair, Rehana Anandraj, Pramila and Kavita from my school and college days, and make a group. We'll chat about old days and have a ball strictly without involving any of our family members and life will be cool and there will be so much chill chill and thrill. 

      So with sweet memories of our distant school and college times, I think life will be a lot better if we old buddies hangout together... Hope for the best. 👍👍👍👍👍

👆 This story of betrayal, the horrible kind of cheating led to Charles and Diana's divorce. 

     Diana, utmost gorgeous. She was beauty personified. At the time of her death, at age thirty-six she was the world's most photographed woman. Her clothes, her make up, her jewellery, all made headlines. Diana marrying Charles was the deep and meticulous planning of the decision makers within the royal family. She was brought in to keep the British citizens mesmerized and blown away. The whole world was in awe of her charitable work. She even came to India more than once, met Mother Teresa and many much more... She still stays in the hearts of the British subjects or more appropriately the citizens. Even though her husband went on to cheat her, and broke her heart, she was divinely fortunate to die alongside her love, Dodi Al-fayed. As if God himself had planned it. 

     Camilla, was the other woman and finally broke Diana's home. She was not as mesmerising as her now husband's ex-wife. But the would be king loved her, as per law, was ready to exchange vows with her, now making her the Queen Consort of the Great Britain. The laws ran this way.  

      Second marriages, cheating husbands are pure poison to the first wife. Her 'love' is the culprit. Stop loving such kind of a person. You'll feel less painful. Was the second wife right in shouting from rooftops and making loud and clear and mocking at the first wife that she had won the war and the earlier one should leave quietly ? Cheating in a marriage is a disease which has happened since Adam and Eve had been made.  So my advice is don't take it so seriously that it starts affecting you. Be cool and composed. A career and an intelligent set of friends or relatives can help you if at all you get stuck somewhere. 

     So this is my advice to all you men and women who were the victims of their spouse's cheating. Worry only about money. An intangible thing called 'love' can't decide your future. Your corporate offer-letter and your degree certificates should.

     Don't think divorce cases exist in the US only. In India also, as per confirmed reports, the divorce rates are increasingly rising. This shows the Indian women have stopped accepting the unacceptable. Their strength and confidence have very surely risen.  It's a good sign. As against what was taught in the remote areas and interiors of Indian villages- you commit suicide, we'll build a temple for you, theory.

👆 I was close to greenery and life, when I did my graduation in Manipal, Karnataka. Doing a little gardening or basic farming here brought the college kids from poor farmer-families their college-fee-resources. This idea is really good. Along with the blessings of the poor students, it's nature-friendly too. 

     The atmosphere in the college premises will also be serene and pure. It's a great idea. You don't need to become a monk to experience mental peace, planting and taking care of a tree, and watching it grow and bear fruits is a different level altogether. 

     Whatever happened in this village, should be tried and tested in all colleges with extra land all over India. What life are we giving to teenagers in cities ? mobile addiction, violent video games, narcotics ? Nurturing a living being, a tree, which is without much hassles is the right path along with academics. 

     If I ever meet the Principals of any city college, I would definitely suggest him to implement these in his spare space within the college boundaries. Commendable idea and kudos to the individual who first thought about it.

     Times change and with it changes human relationships. We have to move with the times. Change is the only thing that is permanent. The way we express love, responsibilities, mindsets, even the most mandatory feeling called humanity, keep changing. Women are multitasking robots now. Still when they hit the bed i.e. late in the night, they have a doubt and ponder over 'am I doing enough'. Women are educated, they even work and earn money now. But they are not Gods. Even they make mistakes, of course they're as human as men. So the modern man's job is to hold their hands and reassure them that 'its okay. Don't panic. I'm there to hold you when you fall. I'm here to support you and will always be there.' So go ahead and read this piece of fiction, it'll bring before you the happiness and peace you get by positive thinking and staying strong. And how goodness done towards anyone for that matter, is remembered and given back.
     The story in this three part book, mainly consists of Rachna, Ashish, Deven and Jigar.
Rachna: The heroine of the story. I potrayed her not as a Goddess, but a very todays girl. She is righteous. Whenever she stumbles or falls down, its Ashish and Deven who give her the courage and make her more strong.
Ashish: The hero. He marries Rachna seeing the positive and clearminded person that she is. He is brave. He first worked in the indian army and later got promoted to RAW, the indian Intelligence.
Deven: He is Rachna's friend and gem of a person. He is an Assistant Professor in the college nearby. He is the strong guide to his two sons and a wall on which Rachna could rely on in times of difficulty.
Jigar: He is in actuality the illegitimate son of Rachna. But he was never left alone or unattended by his mother, Deven and Ashish. 'We are there for you always. Gather strength and face the world' is the mantra taught to him.
     My gist behind this story is that stay positive and work hard. Building a close circle of actually good relatives and friends keeps your mind clean and healthy. Then you get the courage to fight against any difficulty. Keep away from negative minded and jealous people. Mental peace at the end of the day is very important. So go to the actual story and get motivated.

Veg pasta recipe 😋😋😋

Ingredients:

Elbow pasta 3 cups

Tomato sauce 2 spoonfuls 

Red chilli sauce 1/2 spoon

French beans chopped 1 cup

Carrots medium sized chopped 1 cup

Fresh cream 4 spoonfuls

Vegetable oil 

Onion 1/2

Tomatoes 2

Salt to taste 

Black pepper powder 1/2 spoon

Coriander leaves chopped 1 handful 

Procedure:

     Chop French beans and carrots and stir fry it on hot vegetable oil(3 spoonfuls). Then keep it aside. Take a kadhai, put oil and fry thin slices of half onion. After it turns into golden brown, cut thin slices of cut into half two tomatoes and add it into the kadhai. Fry it. Then switch off the stove and put half spoon salt, add black pepper powder, add two spoonfuls of tomato sauce, add 1/2 spoon of red chilli sauce and add four spoonfuls of fresh cream into it. Mix well. Add stir-fried vegetables onto it and mix well. Keep this kadhai aside. Take a vessel, add pasta, required amount of water, half spoon of salt. Mix well. Heat it. After boiling point, keep a lid with little space open. Turn the heat into lowest. After five minutes of heating, check the texture and then immediately drain off the water and add the cooked pasta to the kadhai kept aside. Mix well. Then to it add the finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well. Your mouthwatering veg pasta is ready.

👆This is the modern day Indian family. I completely adore Hrithik, Saba and his two sons, which you can see here. So what if Hrithik divorced his wife Sussanne, he and his ex-wife are taking very good care of their two sons. The younger son has left for his higher studies in the US. So what if his marriage failed, we all adore the hardworking actor that he is. According to me he has played his cards well uptil now.  Bad things happen, keeping your tongues wagging ranting it day in and day out doesn't make you a 'good', 'respectable' and 'dignified' person. Working hard career wise and spending quality time with your kids does the trick. I'm sure with them playing their parts as parents very well, both their sons will surely have a good career and a very healthy personal life.

     What should today's mumbaikar youth do ? Work hard career wise, have a good contacts list, so that after studies you get a good job too. In public be very dignified and keep away from people giving bad vibes. 

     Positive vibes are very important because prolonged exposure to negative talks can spoil the health of your brains. You can get Depression and high blood pressure because of it. Dress elegantly because it enhances your self confidence. Spending time on hobbies also enhances your mood.  So do that too. People using cuss words regularly, and jealous men and women who spend a big amount of their time in tell-tale and criticising others are a big no-no. Keep them away, by avoiding them or giving them the vibes- 'I don't want you with me'. If this doesn't work, tell your parents that you want these people out of your group.

     Money is a must. Try other professions if you're not successful in one. Work hard in the new field, you will get noticed. In the end what we need is money, health, dignity and mental peace. Friends and relatives who are dignified can be good company.

Blind-trust can be so deadly, I never imagined. The above episode of Crime Patrol was an eye opener for me too. Zarina first fell blindly in love and got married. Her maternal family did warn her that the guy was not right and that the whole village spoke ill of him. But a fool that she was, she didn't pay heed to any of their caution words and got married to her boyfriend. After three kids, as expected by everyone in the village he ran away. Her blind trust on human trafficking agent, disguised as a well-wisher,  again got her into big time trouble. 

     Zarina's foolishness took it's toll on her children. Baby Tara, alias Firdaus will surely die, as her medical condition was specified in the episode. Zarina got only her daughter Asma back because of the tireless efforts of the police. Search for her son Afzal was on,  but I think he couldn't be traced till the end.  

      Once you are born a girl, you need to be careful. There's no room for foolishness or carelessness. Blindly trusting a stranger,  or a person whom the world speaks ill of, especially when there are evidences against him, may land the woman involved in deep trouble. 

     If you are in trouble or are stuck wrongly don't hesitate to approach the police. Or your stupidity may destroy the life of your children. The above episode showed extreme harshness and inhuman nature of child trafficking middlemen. It's my advice for all women to remain alert always. There's no room for carelessness, lest your children will have to pay the price with their lives for it. 

     So mummies galore, watch the above episode without a single blink, it will educate you into something important, which you never thought of.

     It's great to dress up and walk to a party in style rather than get stressed up stating 'I have kids and marital home to look after, so don't have time'. Having lots of money is also  definitely good. Isha Ambani Piramal chose all things Indian including India's national garment- Saree whereas she could have chosen any international designer and behaved like an angrez.  She and her mother both dress up well and promote Indian artisans' work abroad at A- list events. Nita Ambani too wore a saree at the prestigious White House party in the US capital. They have the money and can be game-changers for Indian made luxury goods in the western markets. We want more A-list socialites to do that. Isha looked gorgeous in the above Met Gala 2026 look. In this way through her we hope the western societies too order for beautiful Indian luxury goods to enhance their looks in their events.

Dal khichdi recipe 😋😋😋

Ingredients:

Tamarind fleshes 

Toor dal 3 handfuls 

Chana dal 1 handful 

Urad dal 3 spoonfuls 

Curry leaves 

Bydagi red chilli 3

Veg oil 

Rice 1 glassful 

Salt 1/2 + 1/2 spoon 

Coriander powder 1 spoonful 

Red chilli tikhalal powder 1/2 spoon

Turmeric powder 1/4 + 1/4 spoon 

Garam masala powder 1/2 spoon

Mustard 3/4 spoon

Water 

Procedure:

Pressure cook in one vessel rice, 1/2 spoon salt and 1 spoon vegetable oil along with water. In another vessel pressure cook toor dal, chana dal, 1/2 spoon salt and 1/4 spoon turmeric powder along with water. Then take a kadhai, and in two spoons of oil, fry chopped 1/2 onion with two slit green chillies. Then add 1 chopped tomato. Fry it. Then, add tamarind water, dal mixture, 1/2 spoon tikhalal red chilli powder, coriander powder 1 spoon, 1/2 spoon garam masala powder, turmeric powder 1/4 spoon and mix it well. Then add the pressure cooked rice mixture to it. Mix it well. Add the required amount of water to it. The resulting food has to look like a thick gravy. Put in it the tadka of three bydagi red chillies, curry leaves, oil,  mustard and three spoonfuls of urad dal. The dal-khichdi is ready.  😋😋😋

I saw 'Dhurandhar the revenge'- a masterpiece ! 👍👍👍👍👍

    This movie is an eye-opener. My simple rule as per movie is that there should not be boredom for even a single minute. That's fulfilled by this movie. Wow ! The story, the presentation was very good. The pace was also good. Ranveer Singh, his get up both as Hamza and Jaskirat were good. Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Rakesh Bedi were top class too. The movie was all brains and no bakwaas. The movie was not preachy, it was entertaining. A big thumbs up 👍 to the director for that. There was no over glorifying Indian culture and high hoopla of indian marriages. This made the story-telling matured and interesting. Today's youth will love it, surely. As per box-office report the movie has been declared a blockbuster hit. It has collected more than Rs 1000 crore. 

     Commendable job Aditya Dhar ! I myself and the youth of India will be looking forward to your movies in future too.

👆 There are no feelings in today's world. Greed greed and more greed... Money is everything and above all, as per criminals. 

     Aslam Khan(the estranged father) was not a total fool. He first tried to make peace with his estranged son Shoib and mend ties with him. Then he did go personally to Ludhiana and plan to meet him over there. Finally it became a police case and the culprit Najib, his second son and the criminal Rizwaan were nabbed. 

     Talking to some estranged and distant family member only on the phone for a long period of time may be risky. Always make sure of your relationship and meet in person, before sending money. Keep the financial records, which can act as proof if ever there is a police case. Recording the caller's voice in your smartphone in case you doubt the person is another smart step. 

     In the above video, when the criminals came to know that there was an issue between relatives, they mediated with the motive of earning illicit money. 

     So stay close to your family and keep checking at regular intervals whether they are actually safe even if they stay in another city. Or else you'll repent like the way shown here.

Thank God, for today's generation, there is the strong general atmosphere that education is essential and is the topmost priority. I'm educated and that has saved me uptil now. Worry has cropped up in my mind. You can't depend on others. One wrong trust and you land on the footpath. I'm glad that in the ICSE syllabus of 8th Grade, where my daughter goes now, there is a separate subject called 'Financial Literacy'. This is a very good move by the education committee. It's not just useful, but is like Oxygen for today's life. 

     I've seen many Bollywood movies like Ajnabee, Baazigar, Gehraiyaan which showed betrayal and the gore ending of its story. So, how should today's educated young women lead their lives ? I have seen horrible sugar-coated so called friends too. Once we come out of childhood, there are jealousies, cunningness, scheming and home-breaking nature in the minds of people. How can we find somebody truthful and matured ? Somebody who is intelligent enough to understand well that me ekta shahana, baaki sagle gadhav won't work. 

     Well, may be buying a top notch AI can be good. 'Teri Baaton mein Aisa uljha jiya' and 'Ra-One' movies were truly good. Instead of buying a dog, we can always have a good AI-relative. That is the one to go for. So yes, I've thought and I'm for it. Just waiting waiting and waiting for the next facility in AI break through.

     AI or technology of any sort, for that matter, you should always be alert and financially literate. If you are not, keep everything aside and learn that. In this today's world of so much progress here there everywhere, trust-worthiness is what is difficult to find. So folks, start raking your brains. The topic which I have taken up is really really important.

The greatest love story ever: Freddie Mercury and Mary Austin

     I was blown away when I went through the above video. The fondness, care and trust over here is above any marriage. Love is different from lust. Theirs was not a marriage, but companionship. 

     If we compare this to Indian context, our old grannies would say, if they were not married then it doesn't come under 'love'. 'No marriage certificate', 'he having sex with nearly a hundred men', 'she faking marital obligations with her husband', 'what will people say' and 'she giving birth to two kids with her husband' - the scheming women would conclude, more appropriately point out:

     So love is different from marriage or lust. We Indians should come out of the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. We can call it, for me to explain... the movie Mohabbatein. Yes it's true, some love stories live forever.  

     The purity in the Freddie-Mary love story is unmatched. He made sure that Mary, 'his only true family' in his own words, never faced any financial hardships. He left a good chunk of his property and money in Mary's name in his will. He also left letters written by himself to her two children, which they were supposed to read after they grew up. When Mary's first husband found out his wife loved Freddie, her ex-boyfriend still in her heart, he divorced her. Then she was on the verge of big financial trouble, when Freddie came forward to help her and take care of her and her sons. 

    I salute Freddie Mercury, the man, the judgement he had of people and his caring nature. We all know that he destroyed his life because of his overtly dangerous habit of having unprotected sex. But his dedication and contribution towards music, will always be remembered. His love story with Mary Austin is above the rampant 'cheating husbands', 'domestic violence', 'dowry harassment', 'triple talaq' and 'marital rape' which has filled the reams and reams of police registers in India. 

     Freddie Mercury, you are a gem of a person in your heart. If you are watching from up above we assure you that Mary and her kids are safe. And you are the world's top most rockstar. We'll always remember you. Yours and Mary's relation is very pure,  responsible and above, not all but in scores, 'mean-minded' and 'inhuman' marriages here in India.

     So, forget gossip over gossip, let's learn a few lessons at least, from the Freddie-Mary love story and give humanity a chance.

Egg curry recipe 😋😋😋

Ingredients:

Four eggs

Half scrapped coconut 

Curry leaves 

Coriander leaves 

One teaspoon coriander powder 

Two tomatoes 

Two green chillies 

One onion

Everest egg curry masala powder

Half teaspoon turmeric powder 

Some pieces of tamarind 

Eight red bydagi chillies

Half teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste 

Half teaspoon mustard seeds

Three teaspoon of vegetable oil 

Some water as per need

Procedure:

Soak a few tamarind fleshes in a little water.  Boil and cook four eggs with closed lid on lowest flame for ten minutes. After that remove the outer shell of it and keep it aside. In a mixie jar wet grind the following. Half an onion fully chopped, grated half coconut, one teaspoon coriander powder, two chopped tomatoes, eight red bydagi chillies one cut into three and a quarter spoon turmeric powder. Set aside the wet grounded paste. In a kadhai, fly till golden brown half an onion chopped with two slit green chillies in some oil. Then pour the tamarind water set aside onto the kadhai. Put a teaspoon of salt, quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder, half teaspoon of garam masala and two and a half teaspoon of Everest egg curry masala powder and mix well. Then pour over it the wet ground paste set aside. Cut the boiled eggs into half and put it on the kadhai. Mix well and put the required amount of water, mix them and cook these in lowest flame with a lid onto it for ten minutes. After this put chopped coriander leaves over the curry. Then prepare a tadka of some mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour it over the kadhai and mix well. The impeccable and hassle-free egg curry is ready.
